Election Commission of India ने West Bengal Assembly elections की vote counting से पहले बड़ा कदम उठाया है। Commission ने Bengal में vote counting के दौरान निगरानी बढ़ाने के लिए additional observers तैनात करने का ऐलान किया है।
EC ने कितने observers तैनात किए?
The Hindu की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, Election Commission ने 165 additional counting observers को तैनात किया है। ये observers उन observers की मदद करेंगे जो पहले से तैनात हैं। खासकर उन constituencies पर फोकस किया गया है जहां multiple counting halls हैं।
इसके अलावा Commission ने 77 police observers को भी तैनात किया है। ये police observers counting centres के आसपास security arrangements और law and order पर नज़र रखेंगे।
Police observers की क्या भूमिका होगी?
Police observers का काम election officials के साथ मिलकर काम करना होगा। लेकिन एक अहम बात — ये police observers counting halls के अंदर नहीं जा सकेंगे। उनका काम सिर्फ बाहर से security और law and order की निगरानी करना है।
ये कदम Commission ने counting process को smooth और transparent बनाने के लिए उठाया है।
Hamaari Baat: EC का ये कदम कितना अहम है?
हमारी नज़र में EC का ये फैसला बहुत समझदारी भरा है। Bengal में elections के बाद counting के दौरान कई बार विवाद होते रहे हैं। Additional observers तैनात करके Commission ने ये साफ कर दिया है कि counting process में कोई गड़बड़ी नहीं होने दी जाएगी।
खास बात ये है कि Commission ने multiple counting halls वाली constituencies पर खास ध्यान दिया है। ये वही जगहें हैं जहां सबसे ज्यादा confusion और disputes होने की संभावना रहती है।
Police observers को counting halls में न जाने देने का फैसला भी सही है। इससे counting process में किसी तरह का दबाव या interference नहीं होगा।
